Double Win and New Race Lap Record at Barber Motorsports Park

News Accossato

A dream weekend at Barber Motorsports Park for Round 3 of the season. The rider claimed his first-ever pole position, set a new race lap record, and completed the weekend with an outstanding double victory.

After returning to the bike following the crash at Road Atlanta, the opening session was also about rebuilding confidence, rhythm, and feeling. But Barber is a track he loves, and the pace was strong right away.

In Qualifying 1, important setup changes helped the team take a clear step forward. On Saturday morning, during Qualifying 2, traffic made it difficult to put together a clean lap, but one fast lap was enough to secure the first pole position of his career.

Race 1 started perfectly: a strong holeshot, immediate race control, and a gap that kept growing lap after lap. He crossed the line with the win and an advantage of around five seconds.

Race 2 was more complicated, with red flags, restarts, and delays that pushed the race to the end of the day. But when the final restart came, the launch was perfect once again. He pushed hard, dropped into the 1:28s, and opened a lead of more than ten seconds on the way to another dominant victory.

Pole position, new race lap record, and double win: a statement performance for the rider, the team, and the Aprilia RS 660 2026.

Accossato is proud to be part of this result with its racing braking system, including the Accossato radial brake master cylinder, PZ007 radial brake calipers, and PZ016 rear axial brake caliper.

Control, power, and precision: on track, every detail can make the difference.

Congratulations to the rider and the entire team on an incredible weekend at Barber Motorsports Park.
